The Farm Youth group is the collection of youth who are living on The Farm, an intentional spiritual community in southern Tennessee. It also extens to all the brothers and sisters who were raised on The Farm and chose to explore the rich possibilities of the world. The Farm was formed in 1972 by a group of young visionaries who held a collectivie vision of creating a positive global impact by livin in a communal, nonviolent, and globally conscious way. They believed that if the worlds resources were shared equally, there would be plenty for everyone. The farm founded Plenty, a global reief organization that in many ways embodied the ideals of the community. It was throught at the time that the world was at the edge of what would be a massive change. Time has passed, changes have come, and we, the second generation of The Farm find ourselves both growing in a world with more people and a faster rate of destruction then ever efore. A world with a greater potential for cohesive cultural sharing and global Unity. We recognize our role in taking the vision of our parents forward, to meet the challenges and opportunities of this ever changing world. We see the division of people from each other and from the Earth as the greatest challenge we face in this new Millennium. therefore, we believe that Unity, true unity across all boundaries of separation, is the most crucial step for the human race to take if we are to manifest a world of peace and equality. This vision has led to the creation of the Unity Festival. It is our way of expressing gratitude and sharing the blessings of this land with the people who surround us. By putting forth our intention, and opening up the space, we hope that together we can create, on a microcosmic level, a perfect example of human unity and personal freedom that could be stored in the heart of each person attending the festival, and spread in every direction of the planet.

The 4th Annual Farm Unity Festival is taking play May 19-21. the moon will be bright! There will be music dancing and drumming all night. Come and join us and enjoy the experience with us all.
